Adams Southeastern Construction manages design/build projects in a unique way. Our mission is to build a relationship with our clients in order to deliver the highest quality construction possible. We understand the goal is to build you a well-designed building or space for your growing business needs. What makes Adams Southeastern Construction unique is the means in which we produce that end.

We believe in this four-stage process:

Because every person is unique, every client is unique. Therefore, the design and build process should uniquely address each client. The team at Adams Southeastern Construction focuses not only on the client’s needs, but also their personality. We observe your likes and dislikes, your communication style, your management style. We take a mental inventory when we walk into your office… not only the first time, but every time, to gain a foundation of how your business operates now and a vision for its future potential operation.

Building upon the relationship, we develop a customized approach for each client. This includes an appropriate budget… a realistic timeframe… a plan to present to potential lenders… a vision for your future construction.

We continue to refine your project’s vision. We propose floor plans, elevations, material options; all with cost analysis. We do not overwhelm you with information. We relate with you, providing the specific information YOU want… As little or as much as you desire. Adams Southeastern Construction functions as a liaison for the architects and engineers. We field their calls and questions… you don’t. You continue to manage your current business as usual, and we work in the background driving your project. And because Adams Southeastern Construction places a priority on the client relationship, we meet with you regarding updates and decisions at your convenience… not ours.

An integral part of a healthy relationship is reinforcing it over time. When your project is complete, our relationship with you is not. We remain accountable, available, and accommodating for any post-construction needs. You can expect the highest level of integrity from the entire team at Adams Southeastern Construction throughout all phases of the project. Our greatest joy is realized when clients with finished projects continue to speak highly of us to their peers years later… and contract with us again to develop their next vision into a reality.

U.S. Green Building (LEED)

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is an internationally recognized green building certification system. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED provides building owners and operators with a framework for identifying and implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

Adams Southeastern Construction has completed building the Barrier Island Study Center which is a 5,000 square foot facility that is a LEED platinum design and employed many unique “green” building techniques:

  • Soy-based foam is being used as insulation in the floor system
  • The walls utilize structural insulated panels (SIP), which will provide exceptional thermal values, optimizing the energy performance of the Center.
  • Wood-steel trusses made with high recycled steel content span the second story floor system and will provide open space for and access to utilities for future modification and maintenance.
  • The wall shingles are manufactured of post-consumer recycled materials.
  • The roof uses painted aluminum standing seam roof panels that reflect heat to reduce impact on human and wildlife habitat.
  • There is a 7,318-gallon rainwater cistern installed that will collect water from the roofs to be used for landscaping, outdoor spigots and water closets
